The bus
rocked on the gravelly road, full with ten kids and 12 huge duffle bags. We
were all tingly with excitement, but also nervous to leave home and take on
Wyoming. We saw the flat plains with the cactus like plants. The plants let out
a sweet aroma of rosemary, that drifted into the bus. We sang to pop music, and
chattered with our bus partners all the way to the campground. We weren't thinking about the past or the future. Just living in the present.
Thats so true about what busses are like. Loved your description!
ReplyDeleteYou used great descriptive language in this post. I like how you mentioned the "sweet aroma of rosemary." This writing really appealed to the readers senses. Your last line is perfect - it leaves the reader something to think about. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI liked the descriptive language.
